    Question, is it better to go with the heavier weight and get respectable reps or go a little lighter and get more reps?

      Rebecca, it depends on the goal of the workout really. If it is a "sprint", go a bit light and get your heart rate up. If it is moderate reps, go for the weight as it will improve your strength. A slow "Rx" beats a quick scaled!

    2. I agree. Always focus on going Rx'd if it's compatible with your current fitness level. If you lack the strength to correctly move a weight then; no RX. Just because it slows you down a little isn't a reason for doing more weight, jumping higher, etc.
